As you can see that both these apple laptops are kinda run on the same OS if you buy a mac book today you should get a upgraded version of OS ie:OS X Yosemite or OS X El Capitan.

Well coming to the actual stuff i have gone through each and every aspect of this macs and other mac book pros available.. well i was in search of a 50k laptop.

My present laptop is Sony vpccb15fg which already has a 2.5ghz processor which is I5 2nd generation  quad core processor with 8gb ram 1666mhz  and about 2gb dedicated graphics Intel hd 3000graphics which due to ram upgrade shows up to 5gb graphics also the hdd is 750gb its a normal laptop hdd. All other laptops in the market are about the same specs except the generation and cores in them almost the same to give performance so i came to the mac series.

well the mac book pro which is been sold for about 50k online and 56k in the local stores such as croma and reliance digital will come with the latest version of OS or you can upgrade the OS for free but see to it that you get the latest manufacture also the next thing i would tell you is if you want to use the laptop as you use your windows laptop pls. dont buy the MAC is a laptop for lesuire it gives good performance , entertainment, etc but its not ment to be put into huge processing threads it will either give up or crash… well now you will say why cant i use the hardware with windows OS in it , yes you can do so but again the fact its juss dual core laptop the 2012 model it wont be of much use to you if you do so.. by the software or hard flash either ways .

Coming back to the comparison why mac book pro is better to buy than a Mac book Air??

Well the mac book air is the lighter version of mac book air first thing you will notice is you do not get as many ports as you get on mac book pro if your a light user and only want to use the laptop for blogging and study stuff and not experimentation or performance do get the mac book air

Well in the HW comparison you can clearly see that the Apple Macbook Pro MD101HN/A 13-inch Laptop (Core i5/4GB/500GB/Mac OS Mavericks/Intel HD Graphics), Silver has a 2.5ghz processor which can turbo boost ie: clock upto 3.2ghz on the other side the air juss goes from 1.6ghz to 2.7ghz well again coming the tech part this actually cannot state if the mac book pro is faster as mac book pro has a processor which is old enough and has a capacity of 3mb cache and support other normal feature but the details are the actual tech specs but the mac air has a processor which actually goes upto 3.4ghz and has 6mb cache i suppose for the cooling part and to keep the performance packed apple must have unclocked a very nice processor which should be making the air a good to use i havent used any of the laptops personally but am going to have the mac book pro soon..

Next comes the ports and usb ports : well in mac pro you get usb and hdmi and other ports where as in air you juss get 2 usb i suppose.. you can check the images and tech specs.

Upgrades:  You cannot upgrade a Apple MacBook Air MMGF2HN/A 13.3-inch Laptop (Core i5/8GB/128GB/Mac OS X/Integrated Graphics) any time soon also it doesnt has any upgrade options as it is it has a chipset smaller than that iphone 6s and the rest part of the laptop is covered with batteries which help the air to get a much better battery life. Where as mac book pro being the older version and even the new version has a lot of stuff that can be upgraded and done for performance well the mac book pro has a hdd and can be upgraded to the ssd which can be 64/128/254/512gb also the ram can be upgraded to 8gb see to it that you choose the right clock rate of the ram and use the right ram with the same specs recomended.

Portablility: If you are coming from windows laptops to a MAC you wont be having any issue with the carrying of laptop except the fact “that you dont get a bag pack with apple laptops”

mac book air is lighter and you can say its a lite version and mac book bro is just like a windows laptop in size shape and weight so think wisely before you get it.

Work & Performance: Well in Mac book pro there are a lot of chances that the softwares you currently use on windows will run and perform good but since its a MAC and dual core you should not expect much and similar to be consiered for mac air but with a very less performance ratio with mac book pro.

Final cut pro and similar video softwares work great with pro rather than mac air.

Price: Mac book pro is cheaper than mac book air due to the design and hugeness well the air looks sleek and is priced higher even though the processing is less but is reliable.Retina models do come for a higher cost.

Comparing with Retina display & normal laptops: Well its said that to match the performance of the display quality of retina mac book pros have been enhanced with graphics and dedicated graphics and on the other side retina mac’s have a graphics but the mac book pro sometimes overdoes than the retina although for professionals retina display is a better option anytime.

Well guys so you would have got a idea of how these mac book pro and mac book air is been compared on the basic of technical specs.

Conclusion: You should buy a windows laptop and then port them to mac os or virtualise the os if you want to experience if the budget is 50k better go for a windows laptop and if you still have to buy a apple laptop go for the latest mac book pro (2015 or later),they have H/w upgrade and can be upgraded unlike the mac book air.
